The Basics: Hotel du Commerce email this page
The Hotel du Commerce, a hotel-hostel hybrid, offers rooms out of a former 13th-century convent in the bustling Latin Quarter neighborhood. From the property, it’s a quick walk to Notre Dame and St. Germain.
32 guestrooms maintain a historic feel (think uneven floors and rickety stairs). They are decorated in Provencal yellow and blue and have simple wardrobes, lamps, sinks and desks. Rooms do not have air conditioning, a television or phone, but free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Only three rooms have both a shower and toilet in the room.
Shared spaces include a library, art gallery (with original postcards for sale), free Internet station and vending machines. There’s also a guest kitchen. Note that there is no elevator (cue those rickety stairs!) here and the Commerce does not accept credit cards.
Note: This property is recommended based on location, price and user ratings. EuropeanHostels.com did not charge this property to be listed.
