Vienna City Transportation
We'll show you how to get from here to there in Vienna, using the subway, U-Bahn, tram, or your own two feet.
Walking
Most of what you'll want to visit in Vienna is in the center, or in The Ring, making this a great walking town.
Subway, U-Bahn and Tram
The subway provides support for the U-Bahn which rings around and cuts in and out of the Old City in eight different directions. The tram runs along various city streets and the Ringstrasse (the circular road that encompasses The Ring). The bus is perfect for nighttime travel.
