The Wanderer's Inn West hostel is located in the attractive, vibrant neighborhood of Harlem — and is just minutes from Central Park, the 110th St subway station, and Morningside Park (though females traveling solo may not feel completely comfortable walking back late at night). The newly-renovated hostel offers double-bed private rooms along with eight and twelve-bed dorms, available as single-sex or co-ed. The lovely backyard includes a deck and garden in nice weather, and all rooms have AC as well. Staff is helpful and breakfast is included in the low price of a bed.
