The Basics: The Bulldog email this page
The International Bulldog Hostel, situated in the middle of Amsterdam’s Red Light District and close to most of the tourist action, is a hip place that offers dorms, private rooms and apartments for less. It’s about a ten-minute walk from the 'dog to central station.
Rooms are individually styled, some painted in unique colors. Bunks are the norm here as are shared bathroom facilities. Linens, towels, free Wi-Fi and daily breakfast are all included in the price of a pillow here. Lockers are available for guest use.
The hostel piles on the extra on-site amenities too. Expect a game room, movie lounge, bar, restaurant and lots of tour information (plus free walking tours of the city). In addition, the Bulldog is a real bulldog when it comes to security. The front desk is open and “secure" 24-hours a day.
Note: This property is recommended based on location, price and user ratings. EuropeanHostels.com did not charge this property to be listed.

About the The Bulldog neighborhood
Situated within Amsterdam's Old Center, the Red Light District is perhaps the city's most infamous neighborhood. Yes, you will find sex shows, shops selling marijuana, and plenty of red lights, but there are some more traditional attractions on offer here as well: the Oude Kerk ("Old Church") and trendy shops balance out the racy vibe. Plus, a significant police presence keeps things safe.
