Poised near a canal in Amsterdam’s busting Western Canal Ring, with easy access to major city sights as well as Central Station, the Hotel My Home is a budget one-star that offers dorm rooms and cheap, private twins.

Dorms are mixed and single-sex and most have bunk beds. All rooms, even private twins, share bathroom facilities, but each room is equipped with a wash basin (hot and cold water).  Bedding, towels and a hot breakfast are all included in the nightly rate (did somebody say eggs?).

There’s a lounge downstairs with a TV and boardgames. The hostel also has vending machines on-site as well as provides luggage storage.
