Hostel Description email this page
Located in the rollicking Red Light District, the Hostel the Globe Center is not for light sleepers. The place is equally known for its rooms and its late night sports bar.
Hostel the Globe is a giant place with 20 private rooms on offer as well as a slew of dormitories (up to 20 guests at once). While private rooms have a shower and toilet en suite, dorms share facilities. Linens and towels are included.
Breakfast is not included, but there’s a bunch of cafes nearby and guests of the hostel get a discount on food at the on-site (aforementioned) sports bar/restaurant. A common room has a pool table, darts and other games. Luggage storage can be provided.

About the Hostel the Globe Center neighborhood
Situated within Amsterdam's Old Center, the Red Light District is perhaps the city's most infamous neighborhood. Yes, you will find sex shows, shops selling marijuana, and plenty of red lights, but there are some more traditional attractions on offer here as well: the Oude Kerk ("Old Church") and trendy shops balance out the racy vibe. Plus, a significant police presence keeps things safe.
