Centrally located just around the corner from the famous Heineken Brewery in Amsterdam’s Southern Canal Ring, the one-star Sphinx Hotel is a basic choice with few extras. Amenities aside, It’s convenient to many tram stops and other major city sights.
Dorms and private rooms are available. Most bathrooms are en suite, but a few dorms and larger private rooms do share facilities. Internet, linens and breakfast are all included in the nightly rate.
Reception is open 24-hours and can arrange tours. There’s no curfew or lock-out here and luggage storage is provided. If you need to do laundry, there’s a place just down the street.
