The Hostel Nieuw Slotania is a big place (it can accommodate 210 guests at once!). It’s situated outside Amsterdam’s city center, but there’s a bus and tram stop directly in front of the hostel’s front doors. If you want to go cheap and spread out, the Slotania shouldn’t disappoint.

Both dorms and private rooms are available here. Dorms have between four and ten beds; private spaces are comprised of double/twin rooms and triples. All are equipped with an en suite bathroom (shower, toilet), TV, telephone and hair dryer. Breakfast, linens and towels are all included.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. There’s luggage storage, vending machines, a 24-hour reception desk and no curfew.
