Located in a quiet, mostly residential area of Rome (it’s about a twenty-to-thirty minute walk to Termini rail station), but within a few minutes’ stroll of a metro stop, the Rome City Hostel deals in cozy, budget accommodations for families and backpackers.

Dorm rooms sleep between two and six travelers. Private doubles are also available. All nightly rates include free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, breakfast, linens (sheets, pillow cases and blankets) and luggage storage. Bathrooms are mostly shared, though a few doubles feature en suite facilities.

There’s a communal kitchen for guest use and a TV lounge has a DVD library. The reception desk is open 24-hours; there’s no curfew.
