Situated just a hop, skip and a jump from Rome’s main Termini train station, the Hostel Beautiful might make the likes of Roberto Benigni (of “Life is Beautiful” fame) blush with satisfaction. Cheap rooms and free daily maid service? Check please!
Two-, three- and four-bedded dorms are on offer as are private suites (i.e. your own room plus an en suite bathroom). Hot showers, the use of the communal kitchen, linens and towels are all included in the nightly rate.
Reception is open 24-hours and the staff can easily provide tour info (and free maps!). There’s no curfew, but payment is in cash only.

About the Hostel Beautiful neighborhood
The area south of Termini Station is home to the ornately designed Santa Maria Maggiore church. You’ll also find plenty of cute restaurants and bars along the winding streets. This hood has a cleaner, less sketchy vibe than the area north of the station.
