If not for the luck me and my friends had here that we were the only ones staying at this hostel for the days we were there, it might have been uncomfortable. The place is not beautiful, but it is an acceptable place to stay.

About the The Museum Guest House neighborhood

Once Budapest’s Red Light District, the Jozsefvaros neighborhood is an area in flux. The Hungarian National Museum is on the west side of the hood, and numerous cafes and music and clothing shops add a boho vibe. The area of Ferencváros is bustling with students, which keeps things young, hip, and, for the most part, cheap.
