Located in the heart of Munich, right next to the train station, is the Jaeger Hostel. The Jaeger offers dormitories (you must be 18-30 years old), private rooms, and a whole bunch of freebies. Expect free breakfast, free linen, free lockers, a free walking tour, free Wi-Fi, and a free shot at the Jaeger's bar (seriously)! No curfew.

This hostel was really friendly, helped us out and offered a lot of fun and free stuff for us to do. The bar was cool (free shot), and a free half-breakfast. Its easy to meet people here, and theres free wifi in the lobby. It's also an eco-friendly place. Only complaints are that the bathroom smelled bad in our room.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights in a 10 room dorm. Clean, rooms were warm but that was good because it was cold outside. Only drawback was the shower, you had to press in a knob for water the whole time, guess to conserve water but a bit annoying. Beer special was best in town. 2 beers for 3 euro. take advantage, good beer at a cheap price. Jeramy was above and beyond his duties as front desk clerk and bartender. We definatly enjoyed our stay at the jager!

About the Jaeger's Hostel neighborhood

It’s hotel central south of Munich’s train station, with plenty of accommodation options lining the streets. The area directly around the station is also home to sex shops and a slightly sketchy scene, though further south things get quieter and more high-brow.
