The Basics: Baxpax Kreuzberg Hostel email this page
If being hip and in the middle of action is your game, then the Bax Pax Hostel Berlin, a short walk away from Oranienstrasse and other surrounding bars, is your headquarters. You'll find good, clean rooms in a hostel located inside the courtyard of a 19th-century factory. Some rooms are themed with an artist's original concept. The shared kitchen is a colorful, vibrant scene where guests hang out and eat in the dining area. If the weather is nice enough, guests can wine and dine on the outdoor terrace instead. The lounge scene is picture-perfect bohemian Berlin hostel, with brightly painted walls, worn-in sofas, an affordable bar, Internet station, maps, club info, and pool table.

About the Baxpax Kreuzberg Hostel neighborhood
Kreuzberg has a bit of a split personality, with an upscale hipster side and an artsy, multicultural bent as well. Before the Berlin Wall fell, this hood was the hippest in West Berlin. Today, it’s home to many of the city’s immigrants and provides a colorful alternative to the party havens of Friedrichshain and Prenzlauer Berg.
