The most amazing part is that the Chalet's backyard goes directly up to Mont Blanc, and you can see the mountain when sitting on the balcony. We drove to Chamonix by car, so I'm not sure about the public transportation there. The Chalet is clean, and the owner and other people are very friendly. Make sure that you are not late to the breakfast, as they tend to run out of food (even better, mention this concern to the owner).
