it was clean, new, and nicely furnished the kitchen was well equipped I liked the eating and drinking areas the room almost looked like a hotel room the food was a bit too expensive since nobody really controlled whether people were using bedlinen, most of my roommates didn't --> the idea of the person having used the blanket before my not having used bedlinen isn't too pleasant, even if I did use bedlinen, so maybe there should be some control mechanism to ensure that everybody either brings bedlinen or rents it!

About the Danhostel Copenhagen City neighborhood

Located in the center of town, the Central Station is a hub for tourists and business travelers alike. The area is also home to many of the city’s budget hotels. The Town Hall Square, Copenhagen’s main shopping street, and the famous Tivoli Gardens amusement park are all within short walking distance of the station. While its central location is a big plus, the hood is the city’s Red Light District by nightfall. Though slightly seedy, the area is well populated and perfectly safe.
