The Prague-1 Hostel is almost more of a guesthouse than a hostel, featuring just a handful of rooms but a great location a block away from Wenceslas Square and the National Museum.

Rooms sleep between one and four guests and come with a safe and hot water kettle. The sole bathroom, shared by all rooms, is in the hallway. Towels and linens are included in the room rate.

If you're looking for a hostel that's great for socializing, Prague-1 is not your place. There are almost no common areas to speak of, save for a hallway with a refrigerator and microwave. Wi-Fi is available free of charge.

The location is fairly near to the center of the Old citi, where the main attractions are, and very near to the metro station. Right in front you have a bar-restaurant with very good prices and very good food too. The rooms where very nice and big. Free internet access always a plus! Careful when looking for the hostel. The name of the hostel Prague-1 is written only on the windows, so don't look up looking for neons or boards. It's a big white or very light gray building.

About the Prague-1 Hostel neighborhood

Stare Mesto is Prague’s Old Town, and it is the area of most interest to tourists. The hood is home to the city’s former Jewish district, Josefov, and it has no shortage of elegant buildings. Souvenir shops and nightlife venues crowd the streets, as do hotels. Keep in mind that the area is packed during high season.
