The Clown and Bard is a practical and well-equipped hostel located in the artsy Zizkov hood. Just east of the main train station, this area has plenty of bars, clubs and beer gardens, though the main sights are a bit further away.
The hostel offers private doubles, triples and quads, as well as dorms that sleep between four and 10 guests. Bathrooms are a mix between shared and ensuite. Towels and linens are included and a safe is available for valuables.
Wi-Fi access is provided free of charge. Breakfast is not included, though the Clown and Bard has a bar in the basement, where you can meet friends and drink absinthe.

About the Clown and Bard neighborhood
Southeast of Stare Mesto, the Vinohrady neighborhood is packed with art nouveau buildings and cute cafes. The area is home to the Church of the Sacred Heart along with many other impressive architectural works. Vinohrady is popular with locals, who come here for the cheap wine and the sceney nightlife.
