Situated within a five-minute walk of Salzburg's Old Town, the Youth (JUFA) & Family Guesthouse offers 20 dormitory-style rooms situated on lush parkland in the city's Nontal district.

Rooms can accommodate between two and eight guests. Most share bathroom facilities while a few quads have their own shower and toilet. Sheets, showers, maps and a substantial daily breakfast buffet (marmalade anyone?) are included in all nightly rates.

The hostel has an on-site bar, BBQ facilities, offers bike rental and free Internet access. There is no curfew.

Hostel was great, we arrived at around 11:30pm and they were open and able to check us in with no issues. The bathrooms were mediocre...but the breakfast was really nice and filling with lots of options. The common room area was nice and they sell pizza etc... at a bit of a marked up price, (as many hostels do). There is construction near the hostel and so we had issues finding the place, but other than that, great location, great breakfast, great common area and a great value overall. I would highly reccomend.

About the Youth & Family Guesthouse neighborhood

The Altstadt is home to some of Salzburg’s most lovely structures, including plenty of baroque churches and centuries-old townhouses. Plenty of cafes and tourist shops line the streets, though the real show-stopper is the striking backdrop of mountains.
