    I keep hearing about wine harvest trips. Has anyone done that? Do you get to make the wine or just harvest grapes?

    I have a friend who did one of these. She found it through a travel agency. You might try Country Walkers...they do wine harvest tours, but you also tour whole villages on foot. Very cool.

    My brother did harvest the grapes for a kind of champagne (not in the champagne area) in France. The food and lodging were paid plus some money. And they had free champagne every nights!!!
