   Can anyone tell me when the Feria de Abril and Semana Santa (easter week) will be in 2008? We are currently trying to plan a trip and aren't yet sure if we'd like to experience the festival or cheaper hotel rates :) Thank you!

   The Feria is more for the local people than for tourists. Few of the "casetas" are open to the public, and as a tourist you'll often feel you're on the outside looking in as the local people strut around all dressed up partying at corporate events.
   
   There is also an important series of bullfights that take place during the Feria. If that isn't important to you, I'd skip the Feria and go for the lower hotel rates at other times when you can walk through a relatively uncrowded city and actually get into restaurants.
