How many booking sites should I check?

How far in advance should I book?
In general, you should book as far in advance as you can. Airlines tend to work on a scarcity model, which means that the more seats already booked on the plane, the more expensive the remaining seats will be. Typically, the further in advance of your travel date, the fewer seats will have been purchased and you’ll get a better price. There are always exceptions, though, and sometimes you can nab a cheap flight on two weeks’ notice, just do your research!
